***TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED***
Launched in April 2023, the 3-Day Conflict Resolution Challenge helps managers and small business owners resolve current workplace disputes. The challenge typically runs from 8:00 to 8:30 AM Eastern or from 5:30 to 6:00 PM Eastern on the first Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of each month. We alternate times to accommodate participants in other time zones. If we’re not offering times that work for you, please let us know!
How Does the 3-Day Conflict Resolution Challenge Work?
This challenge is designed to help you resolve a workplace conflict quickly, without a significant investment of time, money, or effort. We understand you have limited resources. We’re a small business, too.
Each virtual classroom meeting will be 20 minutes long, followed by a 10-minute exercise to deepen the learning and apply it.
Your commitment is 90 minutes spread over three days, or 30 minutes per day. However, you might spend more time on more complex or emotionally-charged conflicts.
If you need additional guidance by email, we will be happy to support you. You can also request a consultation, if you discover the conflict you want to address might take more specialized work.
What Types of Conflicts Are Appropriate for the Challenge?
Common workplace disputes we resolve in challenges like this one are employee attendance, employee performance, employee engagement, co-worker performance, and hostile work environments.
These often show up as external questions like:
- “How do I know when to fire an employee?”
- “How do I talk to my boss about my co-worker’s laziness?”
- “Is it discrimination when…?”
- “Is it sexual harassment when…?”
The big internal question is often “Should I quit?” or “Am I the a**hole?”
