How to Get DIY Conflict Resolution for Free

Nance Schick · May 27, 2021 ·

Not long after I launched the first edition of DIY Conflict Resolution in 2014, I discovered some sites offering copies of the book for free. Below, you’ll see why I am not linking to any of them. It’s not about the money. I’ve invested a lot more in publishing the book than I generate in revenue from it. I expected that going in. That’s not why I wrote the book. I wrote it because I want you to have tools to guide you through conflicts to resolution and happiness with your life.

When I discovered free copies of my book, I joked on social media that I had finally made the big time. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Right? My intellectual property was being infringed upon. That must mean I have something worth stealing. Doesn’t it?

I couldn’t identify the infringers, so I couldn’t stop them. But I could stop myself from wasting time and energy trying to.

I decided that people who steal a conflict resolution book might need it more than I realize. I hope it helps them.

For the rest of you, I ask you to do the following:

  1. Stop clicking on links for offers that seem too good to be true. My book is not available from random websites you’ve never heard of. It is available worldwide, but primarily on Amazon.com now. If you click any other link, there’s a high probability you are going to a hacker’s website. That hacker would love for you to give up your credit card information. A “free” book will cost you a lot more in the long run.
  2. Ask me for a review copy, if you can’t afford to buy the book. It won’t be entirely free. In exchange for me footing the bill for your copy, I do ask that you write and post a review on Amazon.com or email me a testimonial I can use in my marketing. I can conceal your identity by only using your initials, title, and state. Just make sure to include that request in your email message.
  3. Schedule your free breakthrough call, if you buy the book and want help with a conflict. I appreciate your support. Even more, I love to give back in ways that empower you to live a life even more wonderful than you imagined possible. Let’s team up. Click here to pick a time. (It’s not a hacker link. It will take you to my schedule on Calendly.)
