With a diverse background spanning education and law, Nance brings a unique perspective to the table. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education (Sport Administration) from the University of Louisville and a Juris Doctor from the State University of New York University at Buffalo, where she also earned certificates in Government Law (Education, Tax). Later, she served two years as the Main Representative to the United Nations for the International Center for Ethno-Religious Mediation.

Nance’s dedication to continuous personal development extends beyond the professional realm. When she’s not working or traveling for work, she spends time weight training, running, biking, playing softball, swimming, hiking, practicing yoga, reading, and writing. She splits time between New York City and Norfolk, Virginia, where she lives with her long-term partner, Musician Peter Schmitz.
